...about her experience while volunteering in Romania.

I cannot begin to explain how my 7 months at the Tanner Romania Mission have changed my life! The kids are beyond amazing. To think about what they went through before Sandie and Bruce rescued them is heartbreaking. The Tanner’s are really cool, because of their love for these children and now with the help of volunteers we have the opportunity to enrich the lives of some really special people. I was able to bring my own ideas to the workshops the mission operates with the kids. We would take walks with the children through the village and work with the children individually on projects. The Tanners make the holidays very special for everyone at TRM with a huge family dinners where we all can get together. It’s been almost a year since I’ve been back in the states and not a day goes by that I don’t think about my time in Romania with the beautiful children of TRM. I plan on returning as soon as I can.
