Libby Gendall
Libby is a proud Kiwi, born-and-bred in Wellington... or so she claims. Her 18 years growing up in the small town of Palmerston North say differently! Her studies at Victoria University in history and international relations sparked an interest in developing countries. This interest became a passion when she spent 5 months volunteering through GVN with orphaned children in Nepal. This life-changing experience taught Libby the real difference a volunteer can make within a community and since then, she's been hooked! When not hanging out at the GVN office, Libby can often be found doing one of her 2 favourite things - dancing (anything from belly dancing to hip hop) and eating (preferably pizza - a possible result of 5 months spent eating nothing but rice and lentils!) |
