Dan Rollinson

Dan is the ecologist for the New Zealand program. He is originally from England where he studied Marine biology at York University. After working in academia Dan headed overseas and travelled around Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. More recently he completed a PhD at Griffith University in Australia, his research focusing on the behavioural ecology of urban native birds. At GVN Dan leads the research and scientific projects. When not in the field, Dan is in the GVN office organising and managing the volunteer projects. He is also always looking for new and exciting projects for our volunteers to participate in.
