Charisse Gebhart
Charisse Gebhart is the current programs manager. She is a U.S. citizen from southern California, but has lived in New Zealand since early 2004. Her undergraduate degree is a BS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, but after graduation she found a new love in volunteering. Charisse had an incredible experience volunteering in GVN's Nepal Teaching English program in August of 2003. Since then she has visited several other GVN programs, and was part of the 2006 Kilimanjaro fundraising climb that raised money to build a school in Uganda. She enjoys tramping, puzzling, travelling, hip-hop dancing, and learning anything new.
